Every child loves a birthday party, but this is a luxury that many Christian families in Bethlehem can no longer afford for their children. The sisters of St Joseph of the Apparition teaching at Terra Sancta College make a birthday party every month for all students whose birthday falls in that month. The parents are invited and there are games, balloons, music and a cake. Without the good work of the sisters, the children would not have these moments of happiness which are such an important part of a carefree childhood.
