The TERRA SANTA EDUCATION TRUST, under the Patronage of the Franciscan Custodian of the Holy Land, is organising the 2008-2009 Concerts for Peace: a series of live music concerts in the UK, Israel, Palestine and Jordan, to celebrate and encourage multi-faith dialogue. The 2008-2009 Concerts for Peace will kick off with fundraising concerts in London and in Chilworth in Surrey in November 2008, and will move on to Bethlehem, to the beautiful Crusader-era Ajloun Castle in Jordan, and to Jerusalem in May 2009. The concerts will feature Roger Wright, star of London hit musicals “The Lion King” and “Thriller Live”, and the exceptionally talented Mauritian singer/songwriter Eric Appapoulay and his band.
Cover photo from Eric's album “Faith Is Trust” Eric Appapoulay has been writing songs since the age of 12. Eric grew up a Catholic, and his songs are a reflection of his spiritual path, but also a many-layered celebration of life, love, faith and trust. Eric has been delighting audiences in London with his unique blend of seggae, the sega and reggae fusion from Mauritius. Check out Eric’s web site for more information on his newly released debut album “Faith Is Trust”, whose songs will be featured in the 2008-2009 Concert for Peace. Don’t miss out on this exciting event! Contact the TERRA SANCTA EDUCATION TRUST for more information on dates, venues and ticket sales, and ask us how you too can be a part of the 2008-2009 Concerts for Peace in the Holy Land. |
