ISABELLE FROMANN (1969-2007), a much-loved friend, daughter and sister, lived an amazing life in which academic achievement was a core value that she embodied and appreciated. Isabelle had a vibrant enthusiasm for intellectual inquiry. She travelled the world and was always open to making friendships with people from different backgrounds and cultures. Isabelle lived in the Holy Land for two years from 1997-1999 working in the high-tech industry. She loved her time there and travelled widely, making many new friends.

Isabelle studied at the European Business School (EBS) University in Germany (B. Comm. 1996) and at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, USA (M. Sc. 2001) before begining a brilliant career in the City of London.

THE ISABELLE FROMANN PRIZE

The Isabelle Fromann Prize has been instituted by the TERRA SANCTA EDUCATION TRUST to recognize the academic achievement of a Christian woman living in the Holy Land who shows academic promise in her final year exams at secondary school and has enrolled in the first year of her university studies at a local institution of higher learning.

It is hoped that the winner of the annual Isabelle Fromann Prize will be encouraged to live according to the values which were important to Isabelle: academic achievement, openness of heart, and a vibrant love for life.

AND THE WINNER IS ...

The Isabelle Fromann Prize for 2007 was awarded to Dana Khbes from Al Fuhais (a Christian suburb of Amman, Jordan). Dana is currently 19 years old and studying business and computing at the University of Salt, also near Amman.
